Hey, I’m Sean — a data specialist by trade, a problem-solver by nature, and someone who’s always been curious enough to ask “why?” just a few too many times.

This site is my little corner of the internet — a place to share what I’m working on, learning about, and reflecting on. I built it partly to keep sharpening my skills, partly to help others along their data journeys, and partly to have a place to point people when they ask, “So, what do you do exactly?”

I currently work at BDC as a full-stack analyst, where I help teams make smarter decisions by blending BI, data science, and cross-functional strategy. Whether I’m modelling client journeys, building attribution frameworks, or working with geospatial data, I try to make sure the analysis always serves the bigger picture — helping real people solve real problems.

I didn’t always know I’d end up in analytics. My path started in bioresource engineering, led to change management consulting, and eventually took shape through a Master’s in Analytics — where I found the perfect intersection of curiosity, communication, and problem-solving. Each chapter sharpened a different part of how I work today.

What drives me now is staying curious — but focused. Exploring widely, but knowing when to dig deep. And doing work that’s both rigorous and human. Because data isn’t just numbers; it’s stories. And my job is to make those stories make sense.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my partner and our (very smart) border collie Ollie, out running, hiking, playing soccer, or chasing a new outdoor adventure somewhere around Montreal. Life’s too short not to stay in the moment.
